Of course...just run low boost fro everyday driving, and pump it up when racing...

Yeah they offer blowoff controllers that can blowoff at 6psi for everyday driving, then you can crank it up to 12 when you want to race. My friend has one for his WRX. He has a "Daily Driver" channel and a "Performance" channel he programmed. The daily driver boost from 10-12, the racing boosts from 16-18 (after 18psi the engine retards timing :evil: )
NOTE: The WRX is designed for boost. Run 18psi on a Duratec and something will blow. I'd say no more than 12, and even then you're pushing it.

i remember the super street wrx had a turbo controller that applied more boost at higher rpms, so if you were just driving around...a little...but if you mashed the gas, a lot...it's been a while since i read that article so i could be wrong...and that might be impossible lol. but i do know the kit can be accompanied by a turbo controller (something like the blitz i imagine) for a very easy way to change between settings
