I've had verizon for a over three years now and the service is great and the phones are quality...

i do , but i found out something kinda crappy about nextel ,,,, from about mid mass and north its a different server for private id's and you cant direct connect to nj or ny or even ct , but from there down can go into nj

NexTel.... i dont like the service at all they never have any reception... though this is irrelevant to what your asking just wanted to throw in my 2 cents
