Ford service CD - 2001

Hey all,

Anybody in Ohio have a 2001 Ford service CD for the Cougar?
I'm looking for a copy, and would rather hand a local member some cash for a CD than go through eBay / PayPal / some random stranger in the middle of Timbuktu.

J/K- But seriously, dont pay for one. If a member has a copy and wont burn you one or allow you to borrow and burn then they should be :banhim: Charging someone for a COPY of a CD is 2 things:
1. Illegal
2. Just plain wrong

Pay the shipping if its that important and leave it at that. Now, someone has to have one so fess up and ship it out:biggrin:

I have the 2001 Ford Technical CD. Got it on Ebay for $4.95 a looong time ago. It's got a lot of VERY useful stuff, especially the step-by-step How To's and diagrams.

Ok- gotta fess up. I guess I didnt get Mark a copy of the CD. I was supposed to but apparently his copy was lost amongst all the others. My bad.

And Dan- Good to see ya on here:biggrin: We gotta hook up sometime and hang out...not that youre anywhere close to here but we can always do a meet point thing. Dinner perhaps? Its hella far from here but that place is cool in the summer. Good food and drink.

That place is about 3/4-1 hour away, but it always feels like it takes 57 hours to get back......thanks to the tequilla. :banghead::puke: haha

Sorry, you need the CD in your computer while running the program, so you wont be able to do that.

Burning a CD is not a problem for me if someone just makes an ISO or a zip file of all the files on the CD. Seems like it would be cheaper/easier than sending CDs to everyone.

I'll zip it down and see how much it compresses. If it takes 1-2 days by mail, it may only take 1-2 hours to DL. (?) 800,000,000 bytes @ 50K bps = 267 minutes == 4.44 hours. Zzzzz...

If you have DSL or T1.....even faster!

If it compresses down enough, it'd be easy to just DL it at night or while you're playing Grand Theft Auto - Vice City (???)
