I'm giving up on Autocross, so I'm selling my race setup.
The Falken tires have (3) Solo2 STS races on them, average of (4) laps per race, (2) 1/4-mile runs, and about 50 miles of highway travel miles.
In Solo2, the tires were kept at at least 42 psi, and I've never seen any wear marks past the indicated wear points on the tires.
The tires have never been purposely "smoked" before.
There's got to be at least 95% tread remaining.
The rims are 1999 stock 15's and are extremely clean.
One rim has a "ding" on the inside lip, however, I've d raced with it and never felt or found anything out of the ordinary (no vibration, no leakage, etc.).
The tires cost me $68 ea + tax. The rims cost me $125. Mounting & balancing cost about $70. I figured the total cost to me at about $475.
I'm looking to get $325.00 for the entire set of (4) tires and (4) rims.
I'd prefer someone pick them up, rather than shipping. However, I get a ~50% discount through UPS if you want them shipped. If you live withing a 45 mile radius of Toledo, Ohio, I hand deliver them to you for free.
Like I said, this is a "future for sale" post. I just wanted to see if any auto-crossers were interested, since this is the BEST STS tire out there. These things stick like glue, with no squealing.
