I was wondering if I need to up grade anything before installing nitrous in a 4 cyl .

This topic has been covered a bunch of times, even recently.
NO you don't actually need anything...
You will want to get copper spark plugs 1-2 steps colder with a narrower gap. Also it's good to have a solid intake pipe to drill the jet into, just a good idea.
Besides that...just buy a kit and go. If you know what kit you want, drop me an email or PM, and I'll see what I can do for you.

I agree. No modifications are needed useless your using a big shot. Just be conservative and you'll have no problems.
