I can't take my car to any shops because they can't lift the car with the kaminari side skirts on. Now I have to take the side skirts off everytime I put it in, and now they don't fit right and look pretty crappy. Plus it is a hassle to take them off and put them on. Is there a way to have the skirts on permanently but have them modified so it can be lifted. Or am I gonna have to live with constantly taking them on and off? Thanks for any help.

This has been in question to me as of late. I'm thinking about getting the Xtream sides soon (thanks to an insurance check) but I dont know how i could go about changing my tire or oil. Is there some way around this with out damaging the side skirts or taking them off ?

yup.. once you get a body kit you need to just throw out your factory jack.. you need to purchase a hydrolic jack and jack it up as you normally would have before.. sometimes it means inserting the jack at a higher part of the car and rolling it around underneath a large portion of the car cuz the sideskirts are low and do not allow alot of clearance to play with..

The car can safely go on ramps if you jack it up prior and apply the ramps at like you being 1/2 way up and then drive the rest up once you get the other side the same way..

just as an FYI... if your car is lowered and cannot go on a lift tell them that you need to have the car on the alignment rack... it's the only drive-on ramp that will work but make sure you bring your own plywood for them to use ..

I've never had any probs with dealers.. I'm just upfront and tell them that it has to go on the alignment rack due to it being lowered with a bodykit... they take their time driving it up there and I even watch..

Thanks for the responses. I have taken my car everywhere and everyone says they don't have the right equipment, Ford thought they did and tried but said they couldn't do it. I'm gonna take it to the body shop and see what they can do. I post an update for anyone who might need to know.
