Hello to the best NECO chapter in the bid'ness!!

I was cruising home from Best Buy yesterday afternoon around 5:30pm on I-75 S in Toledo, and saw a red Cougar, lowered, with white "COUGAR" graphics on the side and a windshield decal, tinted windows, and no wing. They exited to the Anthony Wayne Trail.

Who was it?? Just excited to see some Cougars in the area with a little bit of customizing. :)

NOTE: Yes, you'll notice that "Dan is back." :)
With Spring growing closer everyday, I've been getting antsy with giving my car a slight make-over for 2003. I'll be looking to sell my factory 16" C2 rims & my stock 15's with fresh Falken Azenis in order to finance the purchase of some new 17's and tires. Also, I'm looking to give 'er a little bit of FX with some Visteon side skirts and a front lip/air dam. I don't want to go with a full body kit -- too much effort & $$ for my busy ass. I need a new look for summer!!!

Later!

Dan

Let's see...
Laser Red yes, lowered no, Cougar graphics no, tint no, wing yes.
Well, nope, sorry Dan, must not have been me ;)

Welcome back First Ohio NECO Meet Organizer! :) Wonderful to see you hanging out in our forum again.

And on the third topic, depending on price ;) I might be interested in the C2 rims when you're ready, and make my stock 16's the "winter" wheels.

I'll keep you in mind regarding my C2 16's. :) Tires & rims have 20K miles on them, but the rubbers are still very far from their death bed (mainly 'cause I didn't use the stock BF's for Auto-Cross). One rim has a 2-inch "rash" on the lip, but I was thinking about picking up a 5th C2 rim as a replacement.....maybe. I saw one available in the "FS" forum. It all depends: if I try to sell the rims on Ebay, I'll replace the skab wheel & try to get top $. The "rash" isn't all that noticable (like I said, 2 inches), especially for winter wheels. In Ohio, the salt covers up pretty much everything!

Hell, I might even deliver them! I'll keep in touch. When I find "the rims" I want to buy, I'll talk more serious about my C2 16's. I can ride on the 15's & Falkens for a couple weeks, just as long as it doesn't snow too much. Falken Azenis + precipitation = :puke:

I'm definitely in the market for new wheels and tires now -- I just got another patent disclosure at work. That = $1250 insta-bonus. Ironically, that's exactly how much some new 17's, tires, and side skirts will probably cost me.

By the way, it's great to be back on the boards!!! :):):)

Whoever owns that cougar you saw works at Best Buy on Monroe Street. I see it parked outside there all the time, and my roomate is the HP rep for that store, so he knows the person who owns it. I'm not sure if their a NECO member or not though.
