what din size is a 99 cougar 1/2 or double?

what din is a cougar stereo will a din and 1/2 work.

I think stock, its a double din....not 100% sure though..sorry.

it is 1 1/2 din, but you can fit a double

It's din 1 1/2 Din and you can fit a double din in there. I had an Alpine 2din cant remember what model... it was a MD/CD combo now have Alpine 7998 din size.

I am wanting to install a aftermarket head unit because I have a factory tape deck and no non-working cd changer. if someone has a working 6 disc that will work or a single cd haed unit i'll buy it from them. let me know
