First of all I just wanna thank Sunni  for refabricing my WHOLE CAR while I was on vacation this week. It started out with me replacing my speakers, and she said that since I had everything out already that she wanted to try refabricing.
The smooth light blue pics are the ones off the first fabric we tried. It was some sort of spandex-neoprene combination. It was too thin, and kept bubbling up. Once it was done Sunni, (not me) wasn't saitsified with it so she wanted to redo it AGAIN!!!!
So we went out Sunday before the Bucs stomping of Philly  I wanted to get some crushed velvet...that woulda been sweet  but we did find something called Crushed Panne
She even sewd(I dont think thats correct grammer..someone correct me) the visor back together!!!!!
I put the headliner back in and the rear panels in today...Sorry I dont have ALOT of the new ones, once I get the frontdoors done, I'll post pics of it all installed....
Again thanks Sunni!!!!!!!!!!!

well...nothing new to say to Chris since i have been watching this all go on day by day....wanna talk about a MESS in the living room/diining room/porch?! WOW!!
haha...just messing with Sunni since i know it drives her nuts...but was necessary to get all this work done.....
this stuff looks really good and is soft too. i actually liked the original stuff better because i like plain (this is a little ghetto for me  ) but it still looks great and the craftsmanship is fantastic :bowdown:Sunni. this will hold up much better since it is tougher and they could use more glue on the thicker material without it showing through....
the headliner is a big wave of blue now and the door panels are really great with silver on the big "C" shaped handle and on the speaker cover!!
great work guys!

Just a few things..
1......thanks for the compliments, it didnt come out too bad for my first major DIY mod....
2....Loyalty.....you should have waited until it was all installed before posting pics ya goob :poke:
3.....
my mom sews all sorts of ****, she could help me with mine some day I hope she is more experienced than I am...I would have to say that recovering and sewing the visors was the BIGGEST pain in the butt of the entire thing....also the most time consuming....I think that the sewing alone took me about 5 hours, but I think resewing them really made a HUGE difference and since I didnt think they would look right painted, and the first try with trying to reglue them didnt look good enough either, it was something I figured was worth a shot and I am glad I ended up doing it.....and I ended up injured.....reminder: next time buy one of those thimble things...it would have come in very handy
4.....
wanna talk about a MESS in the living room/diining room/porch?! WOW!! I know :disgust: but he promised that he will clean it all up tomorrow...(I am not holding my breath though ;))
5......
When I look at that, all I hear is porn music in my head I hear ya, I keep telling him it is ghetto fabulous....cause it reminds me of a pimp too....maybe his next mod should be to permanantly remove the backseats and throw a futon mattress back there :naughty:
Hopefully it will all be installed soon with better pics...and I can see if there is anything else I need to go back and touch up on, but all and all he says he likes it so I guess this episode of Trading Spaces was a success! :)
EDIT: Oh, for the record...the last three pics of the visor are the only ones that are pics of the actual fabric that is going to be used/installed......all the rest of em are of trial run #1 :)

Yes I probably should have waited til I got everything reinstalled, but a few people I was talkin to wanted to see it anyway, so I threw some pics up jusst for now.....I'll post the final pics in this thread with an updated title once its all done.....

There was no "how-to" on the visors.......it was all trial and error until I thought they looked good. I just figured thats how to get them to look the best....so spent a while trying to get the look like that :)

actually I think I'm gonna step down sometime soon... I'm getting sorta fustrated at offering help and walk-thrus .. people get pissy when I haven't made a particular how-to and they get pissy when they can't figure it out and after I help and help and help some more when it is done I get zero credit.. (this is not directed completely at Chris or Sunni)
okay maybe someone pissed in my cherios today... who knows...
