I'm new to ohio neco and i like to introduce myself i'm robert kluck and i drive a 99 black atx. i'm looking at your minifest i might go. I have just got home and i have a problem with my car my taillights are automatically lighting up with out pushing the pedal. When the car is off they don't light up. but as soon as i start up the brake lights turn on and then when headlights are turned on everything is on. So i'm going to take my car to mercury and see whats going on with it.

Welcome. Dunno what to say about the taillight problem- That's a new one to me. If you are new to NECO as well then you may be interested in Cougarfest. Minifest is good and all but not even remotely close to the experience of cougarfest. Seriously, if you can at all make it goto Cougarfest. If you can only swing one major meet this year...goto cougarfest. If you have to sell a kidney or testicle to get the money to go to cougarfest...DO IT! That's bout all I got for now. Have fun and dont mind some of the drama around here- its not as bad as it sounds;)

Welcome, come to CF its well AMAZING. Also I think the TeamNECO event in Indy is going to be off the hook too. So hope you can make some events and welcome to the party!

Yeah well already requested the 16-17 of may of for indy so i'll be there and i'm going to make cougarfest also. yeah i'm so ticked about this tail light problem i didn't have time to run it to mercury. Some people from my area were also telling me that mercury dealer is a pain to work with and go to pepboys or something liek that so i might just have them look at my car.

hahahahahahhahaha i found out what the prblem was i was underneath my dash looking up see if a wire was cut or something and the brake switch is sitting there dangaling lol i put that in its spot and it working lol.

My old Chevette had a bad brake switch that caused the brake lights to stay on all the time. Man, that was a long time ago...

Glad to see you made it to the forums Rob. Just as fyi, on the Ohio NECO site I have a link to the NECO dealership rating system for Ohio. That might help in the future when looking for a good dealership in your area to do work on your car. Glad to hear you fixed your tailight problem. Again, welcome to NECO and Ohio NECO.
