nope
there could be an advantage if you could afford to put a lotus elise motor into your car.....then chop your car to pieces to try to equal the lotus elises very light weight

I thought that the new Lotus Elises were using the Acura Integra/RSX Type-R engine. I swear I read that somewhere in a magazine??? HHMMMMM......

If i am not mistaken you cannot bring over the lotus elise in normal form due to the engine not meeting American engine safety/emissions testig and what not...so the easiest way to import a car is without it's engine and put something els ein it.....thats how the zetec got inside
least...thats my opinion....

no, england has lots of zetec motors (DUNNELL, Raceline, etc...) The elise is powered by a 118 hp zetec 1.8 liter

nevermind, i checked some other websites, and they said it was powered by a 1.8 liter k series engine... Must have just been one confused website, but the guy on the site was talking about how he sent his zetec to dunnell. Maybe he just got an engine transplant...
