this might seem like a dumb question. but where the hell is the passenger compartment fuse box? I have a 99 cougar, made in nov 98, and its supposed to be located 'under instrument panel.' but there is no easily removable box or panel anywhere on the drivers side. :( help!!
its under there....to the left of the steering column. There is a little black thing that you have to push and they relay box will tilt down

Correct, just watch out that you aren't looking up from underneath of it, or when you hit the button it will fling open and hit you in the face.
