Well...I just added another 55 hp to my car via the all mighty nawzzzz bottle.

I added a Zex Nitrous kit. I'm only running it at a 55 shot...but it's fun. Tried it for the first time last night...and yeah...it's cool.

Well, next I'll install my race seats, then the clutch, flywheel, lsd, and axles go in...and I'll run a 75 shot at the track, and see if I can break into the 13's...hopefully I can pull mid 14's 14.5-14.7, without the bottle.

Oh well, I need some nitrous accessories like a bottle heater, cause I'm only runnin like 650psi on a full bottle...and it should be around 900-950psi...oh well...Still pulls like an animal...

I like that kit. I saw an ATX run 14.5 on the 75-shot... and 17.2 without it on the same night.

Knibbs ... 650psi is the pressure of the N20 in the bottle itself

Best operating bottle pressure is around 950psi. Remember with nitrous there is nothing to force the N2O into the intake but the bottle pressure itself.

Damn cold weather...so the bottle heater is on the way. Should have it in by next week hopefully, and also a second bottle ;).

SO I'll be carring 20lbs of nitrous. Why you ask??? Cause I want to...

Bottle pressure is down to 500psi now...so it sucks...But it'll have to do for now.

Hopefully I can pull that 13.999 this spring. The car feels more than fast enough to do it. I just really need that tranny stuff, cause my clutch slips during hard shifts...

Oh well...good times. And Yes Adam, you'll get a ride once I get that pressure up.

Maybe its just the car seats I have then? The only way I could get it to work is if I leave the passenger seat moved up alot, but then jen would be sitting on the dashboard.. Bah, i just need a different car!

I dunno mango....these are some kinda Eddie Bauer seats.....so maybe it has something to do about it?? This family whos kids i was at are loaded, so it's some ultra pricey high-end car seat.....probably comforms to everything....

New car is good :wiggle:

I'm still running stck 17lb injectors with all my mods and on the bottle. I get much better AF mixture this way.

And yeah...he bottle is fun, but get a bottle heater. You'll need it. Damn cold weather.

zex offers a kit that comes with another bottle, t adapter, brackets, stainless hose, etc....everything to add a second bottle. You can try Ebay if you just want a second bottle, and just buy the other parts, but it's up to you.

Grab a bottle blanket for like $25 too...so it'll keep the heat in from the heater, and the cold out. It saves time on heating the bottle every time.

If you want all the attachments, get the heater as a definite, then a purge kit and a remote opener for fun. Then get a Nitrous Pressure gauge to watch pressure in the car.

Then the copper, colder, narrower gap spark plugs, and you'll have a cool setup. remember...if you get a second bottle you need 2 heaters, and 2 openers. But 20lbs of nitrous rocks, and it helps keep pressure up.

Good luck...

sounds like a plan. I'll have to wait while on the second bottle and the heater and bottle opener.

Ask any racer... any real racer. Shaving the front bumper cover is the way to go... I get about 10PSI of RAM-AIR at 60MPH... and it just increases as I go faster.

Must be why my car g-teched at 10.9 at 400mph this morning.

Heh - I bet jeremy's car tops out at 140 in parking lots! :banhim:

Frank, when are we building your 3L?!?! I mean, with that, you can way over 400mph! Especially when we paint the valve covers yellow, and slap on a big NOS sticker on it!
