lcd light out??

So there are two lcd screens in the dash, one has the clock and milage, and the other has you mpg,triometer etc....well the back lighting(green light) has gone out....is it the screen that has gone bad or just the light gone out behind it?

If you're still getting a readout on the screen it's just the bulb, can get at Ford for $2-4

alright thanks....maybe this is a good time to order some guages and screens.....since I'll be taking everything apart
