Do the repair gods despise me or are shops not the least bit careful?
When I got my car back from Furious Imports, my rim was scarred; the scratches were so deep that the rim is rusting. Not to mention that I couldn't set the alarm on my car because my trunk wouldn't close completely. Then I discovered that the locking nut holding my wheel hub in place was loose, causing my rotor to rub against the caliper bracket and probably leading to premature wheel bearing failure. That should have been caught by FI when they did the alignment they said they did.
Today I got the wheel hub checked out at Auto Tech of Tysons. When I went to pickup my car, I found the paint had fractured due to stress on the sideskirts at the spot where they would have jacked/lifted the car.
I just can't seem to win. :banghead:
