Junk Coug Scavange...

CougarDemon is showing me a junked Cougar by him that I may take some parts off, just wondering if anyone else wants to go and see what they can get (maybe a good deal since he's selling a lot of the car)

It's in Swansea, MA and we're meeting @ the BurgerKing right off Rt. 24. No time set yet.

Heh, I already had dibs on the tranny. That was the reason behind the trip when CougarDemon brought it up to me, I just need to save for it.

Well, I dunno if I'll be going now due to a big change of plans...

Our boiler just went and water is all over the basement. This is awesome because it's supposed to be in the single digits tonight! On top of that we have something clogging the bathtub that 4 bottles of Draino couldn't fix. Whatever money I had is now going to fix this stuff, anyone know a good plumber?

That sucks John. I been there before. Boilers arent to hard to hook up really if ya know how to solder and do a bit of wiring. As for the clog they sell hand held snakes. I have one and they work pretty good. I think wal-mart has em and if not Home depot will definately have one. Just ask for the drain unclogging snake thingy.

We can always do this in a near futre date too cause I don't see to many Cougars out there so I don't think much if anything will be missing from the car.

EDIT: Ya know what I was thinking too. I could always call the place or go there and tell him we are all in a Cougar club and own Cougars and wanna salvage stuff of the car. See if maybe he'll give us a deal or possibly not let anyone else touch it.

I'm interested in the shift tower, hatch spring and driver's side visor. Maybe a few other little things.

I could make the trip Friday. Are we on? If people are working why don't we make a list and get the stuff for them?

If we have any hope of getting a deal off him then we'd have to get all this stuff pulled at the same time. He won't want to pull the car into his garage 10 times because everyone wants something here & there. We should talk to him about what we want, try to give him a date on when we'd want it and save up for then.

If its saturday, I would actually be able to go! lol No schedule conflicts, nothing. I hafta drop the girl off at 930 in Groton, MA. Then find something to do til I pick her up at 4. It would be nice if he would let us go in and pull som small stuff off.

For the sassy crew, if you guys are interested in Roush springs in the near future, you could snag the strut mounts and spring seats if there cheap enough. There a good $70-90 from a dealer or online. Actually for anyone else with an 01-02.

i could use... both windshield washer nozzles, dash parts (mostly the big part that goes around the radio since i may need to cut one up in the near future...), possibly headlights, the grill on the drivers side of the front bumper, dunno,,,, i could use a lot of stuff but i just can't think of it all right now...

Gray would work with my Bronco interior. Is the driver seat power or manual?
Haven't been in any shows since evolution. Still pissed off about the power situation.
I'm working with Birch Street for this season tho. Trying to snag another major sponser and the Kitty will get some really cool mods for this year. Added more neons to her tho.

ecko all i really want is the ebrake boot frame in the console. if i cant get it off or its connected to the center console in a way that it cant be taken off then i'll put the whole console in. if it can be taken off you can have the console. son't know if you'll still want it though with no ebrake cover and frame though.

it snowed here today(friday) so everythings gonna be covered in snow at the junkyard. looks like we'll hafta make this happen maybe next week or in a few weeks. whateves easiest for everyone.
