Fog Light Help

Has anyone that did not have fog lights come on there cougar put them on and used all the stock equipment (wiring, harnesses, switches)? Thanks

If the wiring harnesses are there, you should only need to order the switch..It replaces your stock headlight switch.

I guess what I really need to ask is.....I have the wiring in the bumper for the fog lights. So do I just need to order up the different headlamp switch, install that....and then just plug in the same exact harness that was in the original headlamp switch. I ask this because I have 2 harnesses sitting under my dash that aren't connected to anything. I was wondering if maybe one of these were for the foglights and I was supposed to plug them in somewhere. But I am quite sure that I just need the new switch and I just plug the same harness that I have now in the new switch. Any confirmation on this??

Well when I installed my fog kit my new harness just wired into the plug that plugs into the headlight switch. You will definetly need a new headlight switch. The fog harnesses have a couple of relays, and then you wire them into the plug.
