Now that I finally have subs, the bass kinda drowns out my highs from the door speaker. I took all of the bass out of the doors and turned the treble all the way up and it helps out a little, but it'd still like it to be louder.
Would I be better off putting an amp to the door speakers, or replacing the door speakers or both?
if an amp....which amp and how many watts (my subs are two kicker comp vr 12's 800watts peak)
if replacing doors....does anyone have speakers they'd recommend. I'm kinda in a toss up between

Kenwood Excelon KFC-X688C 6x8 55 watts RMS
Kicker K57 6x8 65 watts RMS
Infinity Kappa 572.5cf 6x8 100watts RMS

That's why I only went with one subwoofer. get two sets of tweeters (for the front and rear). Or get 4 stronger speakers and amplify them.

Will A 6X9 fir into my door and side panel in the back of the car?
I have stock speakers and two ten inch Sony subs. My stock speakers are not sounding so great and I would like to replace them. We originally have 5X7's, right?

I thought you had to modify a little for the 6x9's to fit? Because the stocks are 6x8.

You gotta trim some materials w/an exacto knife and drill holes for the mounts. I have Boston Acoustic RE620's that are 6x9 and they fit on their own.

I used to have Kenwood 6x9's in my front doors and they do go with a bit of persuasion.
