had vanity plates, something like KATCAT or something like that (as in owner's initials followed by CAT).
I believe the driver was female.
I was racing by ya in my Contour.
can't remember if they were MA or NH plates.

There are no others beside me.

I lost to another Coug this weekend. It was a Silver Frost, and I'm hoping to god it was an MTX. I only lost by 1/2 a car length but he did get a jump on me because I didn't think he was gonna race (thought he was checking out the car). What bothers me is that I don't think he had anything done that I could hear.

But at the same time, if it was an MTX I guess it's ok that I did keep up as much as I did with my ATX. But shoot me in the face if he was an ATX. I think I'll blame this on my electrical problems I'm having...and I have crappy winter tires that are 225/60/16.

Someone make me feel better :(

sounds like the guy i raced that had nitrous. started off the line i had em then he just flew bye me. never talked with him...

raced him again about a month or less later and beat him. asked him "what happened" he said "bottles empty"...i laughed cause i knew he had nitrous but couldn't verify it till that day.

theres a junkyard down my way with a 99 coug...42,000 miles...timing chain went..tranny looked good cause i was gonna buy it. had the cream connectors so its the better mtx-75...told me $400 so i'm sure if ya waved 350 in his face he'd take it

Hmmm....I'd need the subframe too. Will he pull the tranny or will I?

Actually, since your about 1/2hr from me wanna show me the place? I could use an alternator too.

I'd like to see what else is on the car too, I got electrical problems up the wazoo and can't afford the downtime of it being in a shop. I couldn't buy the tranny for about a month.
