radio reception

I have a 2002 Cougar with the 6 disc CD player. When I play CDs it sounds great but the radio reception is not the best. The sound level will be good and then it will fluctuate up and down. The dealer checked out the radio and it is OK. Any one else have this problem?

Buka, you ought to check and make sure that the auto volume is on off, and not on maximum setting. That would be the only reason the radio will fluctuate up and down in volume so much.
