I'd like to know what cold air intakes are offered for the i4 cougar.

I saw the weapon R on james site but $370 is out of my budget. Anyone know of any other places that sell CIA's.

List the site where to purchase if possible.

Thanks

You can get a CTA intake at CTA Motorsports (http://www.ctamotorsports.com) for $130.

Here is a pic of that:

No company really makes a true cold air intake for our car, unless you count the hot air box and dryer tubing

The CTA is definitely the best priced intake out there, there are a few other options...but cost wise...thats the cheapest

can always go the custom route and figure it out yourself too :)

the intakes are away from the engine and the opening from the stock air box provides some cold air.....

the cta is the best value intake......no use in payin 380 dollars for the same thing.....with a different name.....
the only diff is the cold air box and the ram air crap......which in my opinion.....it's crap.....especially for that price......

i'm gonna relocate the battery to my trunk and see if i can make a nifty lookin "true" cold air intake until the damn turbo is finally released.....

the cta intake and the weapon r intake are virtually identical... because the price for just the intake is 160 ish and the cta is 130 ish... the weapon r intake w/ cold air box is 160 extra! Bundles of people have snagged the CTA intake, its an oldie but goodie... they are all virtually the same though

Well....for starters....it was an intake originally meant for a focus. That being said, i did need to do a little work to make it fit. I had some hood clearance problems early on, but the intake settled in nicely.

I am doing some more work to it to make it perfect, in addition to doing some other work to make it function even better and efficiently.....

Basically.....there was some dremeling involved. If you really wanna know how much work it took, PM me an i'll give ya more details....
