She's going to the shop wednesday morning to get that motor noise figured out. I gotta toss all my factory sh@t back on, aircleaner, pulley, hope they don't notice my gutted cats. Gonna do all that Sunday. i'm just hoping this ain't gonna be one of those things that can't get figured out or is a big thing. Basically i don't want my motor replaced. I'll let ya's know what it is once it's finished.

Oh yea. I get to drive around a single overhead cam saturn...:puke:

Ok so I am a bit pissed. I went to the dealership this morning and to make a long story short...the noise is just a rattle or something loose. I can see it's gonna be one of those noises that NEVER gets figured out. Not to waste a trip i'm having them replace my alternator and give my car a all around inspection. Should get her back today.

What pisses me off the most is I took all my sh@t out of my car. Covered up all my racing stickers and hadda turn down races...dammit. Rather be safe than sorry but all for nothing in this case. I'll post again with the outcome of everything.

get home from the gym and get a call. "your alternators fine. we did the diagnostics on it...reading fine"

well funny cause i did my own diagnostics and it was jumping from 11-13 but hey their diagnostics is better than mine so i'll give them the benefit of the doubt even though my lights flicker and go from low to high at takeoff. told em test the battery so i'll see what happens.

i wanted to bask some motherf@ckin heads. they talk to ya like you know nothing. well i got news for ya if i had a lift in my garage? guess who would be doing the motor work. i drive my car everyday so don't tell me whats wrong and whats right. if a tire has a scratch in it i'll know..ya know? i can see problems in the future but hey...the cars fine<sarcastic>

you know i was thinking about that too saying "please not what mike went through. pleeeaaase." guess i'll hear from em tomorrow. told them to have one of the mechanics drive it home when its dark so they can see what i mean.

if you're having a problem with the lights flickering, i also had that a while ago.. after many times of complaining about it (and always getting told that it's "normal") they finally did something to fix it... they replaced a wire to complete a circuit or something... i can't remember exactly what was written on the papers i got back...
i think there's a TSB about it... not sure though..

Hey now, watch the Saturn comments. I work at a Saturn Dealership. hehe.
Single overhead cam saturns are really slo but the new coupe that is coming out the end of the year with a Turbocharged 4 cylinder is suppose to be able to eat civics for lunch.

don't sound bad. i already eat civics for lunch though. now if it can eat a cougar then its got some sack. my cougar anyway.



on another note i got her back today. nothing wrong, everythings ok<shrug> ok you say so, so all my mods go back on tomorrow and i go out for a blast and do a bit of racing to relieve my pain from not driving my kitty for a day and a half.
