Okay, now I KNOW you don't know what the hell you're talking about. 158 fwhp and 180 crank horsepower is just barely over what a cougar comes with bone stock. So you basically have an intake and exhaust I'm guessing. Maybe a do-it-yourself mod here and there. So exactly how are you planning on getting 215-220 fwhp out of this basically stock cougar? Actually, never mind. It doesn't matter because even if you do, you still won't have a 13 second cougar. That'll probably get you in the mid 14's if you're lucky and a good driver. Maybe if you put a 75-100 shot of nitrous on there you'd break into the 13's, but there's no way you're doing it with 220 horsepower. Just to remind you (I'm sure you already know this since you know more about the cougar than half of us), it's gonna take close to about 270-300 fwhp to be able to run solid 13's consistently. And I may be wrong, but as far as I know, it's damn near impossible to more than double the horsepower on a near stock cougar bo only doing head work. So don't come in here talking **** about everything you know about this car when you really have no clue what you're talking about. There are people on these boards that know far more than you could possibly hope to about this car in particular and cars in general.

And as a side note, I would like to congratulate you on the mature way in which you've been handling your much deserved criticism. Cursing and name calling is a great way to make a name for yourself and your business. putting 220 to the ground will give you about the same as what it would if you bought the vortech blower HOWEVER even with a vortech blower you still can't run much better than mid 14s....

you need to put 260+hp to the ground to run consistent 13s and even then it will be mid-high 13s....

Well...PuckPuck did get involved, so I'm imagining that this guy's days are numbered. He hasn't responded in a few posts, yet, but I would love to see the response drawn if he challenge's Puck's knowledge. Seriously, here's a website that can help you out if you're just starting a web page... HTML Forums dot com (http://www.htmlforums.com/) Notepad or not, there wasn't much on your page.

Talking about 13's and you haven't broken into the 14's yet eh? 158 at the wheels isn't anything new, it's actually quite low for as much smack as you've been talking. With the 2.5L in there, you'll need a bank roll of at least $20K to get into the 13s without an external power adder. You're talking cams and heads, which may ive you another 20-30 HP. Where's the rest coming from? :shrug:
