I'm no E-Thug, but I'm a crack shot with that little rifle. Here's a few reasons that it's really not a bad thing:

The mafia, quite wisely, uses .22 caliber weapons for hits. Care to know why? .22 rounds are very light, they have an extremely high muzzle velocity. That's a plus. They will punch through bone once, then ricochet off every time they hit another. Meaning I can shoot you in the chest, break one rib, and have the bullet fly around in there and take six different trajectories. Neat, huh? Not as messy as a hollowpoint, but IMHO, cooler.

Number two: They're very quiet. I could drop a piece of wood on concrete and get a far louder sound than a .22 rifle makes.
Number three: With the high muzzle velocity, they're very, very accurate at close ranges.
Number four: The rifle itself is way smaller than the .223 I've used. Easy to chop off the stock. Of course, that would kill accuracy, even with the nifty little scope.
Number five: The ammunition is interchangeable with tons of weapons, and .22 weapons are very, very common. Makes it that much harder to trace it to any crime.
Number six: The weapon itself, as well as the ammunition, is very cheap.
And, ehh... that's about it.

Somebody is making up for a lack of self esteem.
Probably with good reasoning though.
So she said.:stupid:
