Not that I was ever very active on the board anywhoo, just thought you might want to take me off of the SoCal NECO list. I've got another car now, but for fear of my safety I'm not saying what it is, all I will say is that the manufacturer doesn't start with H or T. It's been cool, and if it's alright with you guys I'd like to still show up for meets :confused:?

It's an '86 DODGE Conquest aka Mitsubishi Starion. Turbo/Intercooled 2.6L 4 Cylinder, front engine rear drive. I turned up the boost a little (about 13psi) and put on a 1st gen DSM blow-off valve. That's about all there is to it for now, hope to meet up with everybody next time there's a meet. A great resource for the car (if anyone cares) is The Starquest Club (http://www.starquestclub.com)

It's a long story, the short version is that I didn't have a choice in the matter and it needed to go. Nothing illegal involved or anything. I never really had a big problem with the performance of my Cougar so it's not that I didn't like it, it just had to go damnit. :cry: :puke:

i dont know if you still make these, but do you still make the solid motor mount for the rear?

The rear solid mounts aren't going to get done. The one I had went onto a personal friends car, along with every other mod I did to my Coug. Sorry :(

That was one of the big attractions to the car, as with the Cougar there are very few people that know what they are. I can't wait to remove all of the badging, get a bigger turbo and upgrade the fuel system. I SHOULD be running low 13's for under $1,000.00! I'll have to get some pics in a couple of days.

Speaking of sleeper... I went to pick up new Audi from the dealer after they detailed it and saw a green Golf TDi in the parking lot with 18" rims but otherwise stock (not even tinted windows). I ask the sales guy if someone trade it in... he laughs and said it was his girlfriend's car since he rolled his S4 2 weeks ago in Mammoth...

He poped the hood and it had a VR6 swapped in and supercharged. He said it is pushing 350 hp without much tuning. Best part of the story of couse is that since it was originally a disel... no smog check ever!

1.8T is kind of played out. Euro spec A4 already pack 190 hp with 6 speed (as oppose to the US 170 hp 5 speed) so tuning it is kind of pointless unless you want to go higher but it will void warranty (Audi made chip harder to remove, you have to pop off the seal which dealer have been instructed not to service of fix if removed).

Plus the 2.0 T engine will soon replace it and that will have 200 hp.
