What gauges go inside the pods??? Because I think that they look hot, but I have an ATX, so if it is gauges for MTX's then there is no sence in me getting them...lol

Oil Pressure, Voltage & I think Air/Fuel ratio.

so that means I can put them in my ATX???? HELL YEAH!!!

Just a guess, but do those gauges come with the kit, or are those bought seperatly?

I dunno, I don't know anyone who has them.

But if it were me I'd install them into the ashtray area (someone here made a kit for our cars) and keep them out of view. Why advertise?

Check around in the Performance sections. Look for gauges.

No, gauges only work with mtx. You need to route the wiring to the tx with the wiring harness supplied for the manual rotors in the gauges.

No gauges work with MTX or ATX. Only one you might have trouble with is a rpm gauge for a ATX but even then it should work. As far as gauges you can put in...depends on how far your going with the motor. here's what I am doing eventually...

fuel pressure
nos pressure
voltage
oil pressure
gas/air mixture

Only thing with the pillar pod is its 2 1/16" gauges so make sure you get those exactsizes or they won't fit properly. I believe i saw some 3 gauge pillar pods somewhere for our cars. Think it was in the HCI mag.

well with the vb code coming from the processing unit attached to the tx, the a or m will differentiate between the mixed signals.

almost none of the gauges are wired through the transmission.

gas/air, voltage, oil pressure.. etc.. what does the transmission have anything to do with this?

Also.. if you don't want a pillar pod.. you can get gauges that fit in the vents, if you remove the moveable parts of the vents.

One thing you need to monitor closely is boost and egt.. you should get those 2

If his car was old, he might want an EGT, however, if he's running lean, his CEL will pop up.. and that's the only thing an EGT gage is going to tell you.. .. if you need more of a warning.. then something's wrong..

I would get Oil Pressure and Voltage.. the two things left out of our gauge cluster..

If you run Dual Pods.. I'd get Oil Pressure, Voltage, Air/Fuel, and Oil Temp

which he doesn't...yet. i'm going with a S/C sooner or later. I like the idea of the gauges that go where your vents are. Would look awesome imo.

I was being sarcastic. You dont need to monitor anything on a basically stock car except ricer leds an neons.

with the known oil starvation, and altinator failures common to our cars, i would disagree.. Volt and Oil Pressure DO need to be monitored on a stock Coug
