Window Tinting

Ok, who here on the island can recommend a good place for me to get my windows tinted???

i got mine done on Staten Island. 175 for all 4 windows.

I got mine done last Spring at a place called "Street Dreams" in Franklin Square (that may be too far for you, I don't know). But I paid around $220 for the side and rear windows and the strip across the windshield (it would've been like another $85-100 for the entire windsheild). There's a lifetime warranty on their tinting...so if it ever bubbles, you can take it back and they'll fix it for free. So far (knock on wood) mine still looks great.

I know a guy from work who tints windows, but he lives out in Suffolk County. I have seen some of his work and it is it good.
Melissa, you paid $200 for you tint?
I paid like half that for all windows.......sorry........?

He told me he would re-tint my car for about $125-150 with whatever tint I want (mirror, progressive mirror, or just black). I Just don't want to remove the tint from my car, I am too lazy.

I can get this guy's number if anyone's is interested.

With my old cougar, I took it to Island Auto Accessories in Mt Sinai right across from the high school. They did a great job with lifetime warranty for like 150. The place that I took my new cougar was a place called Savage in Patchougue. They suck. They did a piss-poor job in tinting, and I still have to go back to complain about a bubble in the rear.

When I go back to school on Monday I will get his number. He does work out of Tower Trucks in Saville on Sunrise highway, in case something goes wrong.
I have never had my windows bubble, in any of my cars. I even did my first car my self. If the windows are clean, like really clean, you should not have a problem.
