Who was the blue Cougar to challenge my g/f to a road race on 236 last night? She musta smoked you good with her 1.8T Beetle! :cool: She said she ended up around 95 MPH. Please don't encourage her; she has enough tickets! :rolleyes:
Let's see her get by my 3L hybrid.... :evil:

well, considering she'll be in a nursing home by the time you get your engine built, i'd say that's unfair. ;)
Trevor, it's official. I would like to request the "give the finger" icon.
And for-your-information, Gary... The heads are almost done, and the block has already been re-machined and is waiting for the mock-up to test for valve clearance with the overbore pistons. :tongue:

The block is finished- I'm waiting to get the heads back so we can do a mock-up to see if there are valve clearance issues. Remember- The .020" overbore pistons don't have valve reliefs.. Plus, if the guys with the heads can't bring the compression ratio below 11:1, I'm going to have them take off the .030" dome on the pistons. I want between 10.25:1 and 10.75:1, where the SVT computer expects it to be.
