The SD Auto Show down here starts tomorrow (1/1)!
I'll be going opening day but not the LA Show. I went a couple of years ago up to LA Show and just too crowded for me compaired to the SD Show.

I'm going opening day planning on showing up around 8:00am to get parking. I have an annual pass to Disneyland so maybe I'll park there...who knows. I am trying to get a group of Foci to get as well. I am trying to get everyone to meet at the Costco by the Ontario Mills mall so we can all drive together.

Let me know if you are interested in joining me...I have had no confirmations yet. No matter who shows up I'M GOING :)

Just in case anyone plans to go on opening day here are the details I've arranged with a few of the Focus people:

"Yahoo Maps shows it at about 54 miles from my house in Rialto with driving time of a little over an hour. Meeting at 6:30a would be perfect then we could depart at 7am giving people enough time to get there if anyone else is coming.

Meet at Costco @ 6:30 am if you are planning to attend the LA Auto Show this Saturday. Parking looks to be about $7.00 just off of Grand Ave. Admission is $10.00 per person.

I just saw a little blurb about it on KCAL News and it looks awesome...they will have the cars from James Bond! :)"

The Costco is located across from the Edwards Theater / Ontario Mills mall.

If anyone is interested in joining us, we're meeting at 6:30am and leaving at 7:00am. Weather is going to be freakin gorgeous reaching about 80 degrees.

Alright the show was freakin awesom. On the cover of the program that had the interior of the Cougar. It was totally cool! You can tell because of the air vents, and buttons to change the LCD.

They had the BMW V8 although that wasn't as cool as the Ferrari Enzo (you can't beat 660 HP and 0-62 MPH in 3.65 seconds). The Lancer Evolution is pretty neat as well as the Maserati and Aston Martin cars. The Bond cars were sweet. I have some pics from the show that my mom took so I will try to get there from her as soon as possible so I can post them.

I was majorly disappointed with Lancer Evo.

Instead of just bring the car over as is, Mitsubishi America decided to rice out the car complete with clear tail light lense that just looked silly.

Things I didn't like about the car:

1. new nose make the car look like a SUV. I have no idea what kind of look they are going for with this new nose but it looks too much like the lame Outlander they are trying to sell (which also has clear tail light lenses... these people have no clue).

2. The intercooler is smaller than Euro spec to make room for the new larger opening in the bumper... so it looks more like an Outlander... scarfice performance for look... hemmmm factory rice. As a result, US version lose 10 hp :slap:

3. the 747 size wing optional overseas is standard,,, i want to puke

I wasn't able to go to the L.A. show this weekend...to busy with the old lady's family....how was it?

In general it was not as interesting as I had hoped. None of the new concepts were in LA and the one we got... from Kia... were too much for me to handle. New car wise, I saw the new GTO (yawn...) and Lander Evo (puke...) and Audi A8 ( :hitit: ). Everything else you can already see on the road. That's about it.

it was flames but the flames opened up alittle and in slivers about 1 1/2 inch there were real size parts of hundred dollar bills ...it was pictures not paiting ..i think.

and i felt it and there was not a bump or nothing..how is this done? alot of clear coat? it was tight..
