Hey everyone...
Okay, I don't think anyone noticed, but I kinda took a week and a half vacation from NECO and didn't even look at the boards over Christmas. But now I'm back.
I'm planning the Whirley Ball Meet. It will probably stay on January 19th. Its a Sunday. I'm sticking with the 19th since that was the date I picked two months ago...
A lot of people had kinda requested Whirley Ball since we did it last year, and we all had a ton of fun. Don't know what Whirleyball is? Here's the website (http://www.whirleyball.com). Whirleyball is kinda a mix between bumper cars, and lacross...
The cost to rent a court for an hour is $200, and ten people can play at a time. So that makes it $20/person if we get all 10 people playing. If we get less than 10 people the cost per person goes up a bit. I have to put this $200 on my credit card ahead of time... so before I call them, I need some commitment from people who for sure know they are going.
Here's how this will have to work. If you know you are going... email me (reagan@reagansnet.com) and let me know. The first 10 people who write and say they are in... are in. If an 11th, 12th, or so on person confirms then we'll have to make a deal with someone already signed up to split the hour... something like half hour each for $10/person.
Please take a couple seconds to confirm for this... I'd really hate to be out $200 if no one shows up... I mean... that's like a damn short-shifter or something! I will reserve the court at Whirleyball as soon as I have 5 people confirmed.
We will probably meet some where other than Whirleyball so we can have a caravan to Whirleyball. Any suggestions for a restaurant to eat at first? We'll probably eat somewhere first at like 4, and caravan to Whirleyball for a game at 6. More info on meeting place later.
