Everytime I get out of my cougar, it gives me a shock. WTF???:confused: HELP

Mine does the same thing... just depends on what I am wearing though. If it's like a hoody or something you pick up static electricity from getting out of the car by rubing against the seat. It is normal.

It just an annoying and starting to get me upset:ugh:

You can go to a auto parts store and get an anti-static strip, the black band that hangs from under the car and touches the ground. It may look cheesy but it works.
