I'm hoping to get tickets to the party at the Vanderbilt on New Year's Eve. There's supposed to be some good dance music! I figured at least I'll make reservations for the will-call list there for my boyfriend and I and be safe...because my friends can never seem to get their acts together and most big nights are usually a bust. So, they're on their own!
And I know, my sister's just hanging out at the WT bar by my house with some kids that she went to high school with. At least she can stumble home.
Anyone else have plans yet?

I'm stuck closing at work. Hopefully I can make it out by 11:15ish so I can make it home to shower, and from then on, have no damn clue what I am doing. Working so late kinda kills your plans. Oh yeah, I'm working tomorrow also!

I have been snowboarding all week in Maine, my plans for New Years Eve were just to hang out at the house my friends and I rented (13 people). I unfortunately just got home a little while ago, and I have some mail for the Vanderbilt New Years Eve Party. I would have given them to you, Melissa, had I ben home.
Anyway Happy New Year

Poor Joe, but it sounds like you had a good time, too. It ended up being a great party at the Vanderbilt! DJ Razor (from Razor and Guido, back in the day) was spinning so there was good music and we even had a hook-up at the bar! It was just me and my boy and I had so much fun!

It was the best Mountain I have ever rode!
The snow was perfect all four days I rode and there were like five terrain parks which were awesome!!

Awesome, how long was that drive to Maine? Glad you had a good time. I've never been skiing/snowboarding ever! I'm sure I would bust my ass down those big hills! But it looks like a ton of fun. NECO Ski Trip!

Hey sorry just passing through, but I see mention of a NECO ski trip, I'll have to second the idea.:) And PG, skiing isn't difficult to learn as long as you're not scared of falling. Sounds counter-productive, but true.

I'll be going snowboarding this wednesday-friday at Belleayre Mountain, and staying at an awesome place called Catskill Corners. They have a package which includes breakfast, dinner at their luxury restaurant, lift tickets, and room for under 150 per person a night. Cant beat that.

Well, I guess if I can fall off a horse, 10 feet up going 15-20 mph, I can fall gracefully off of skis too! I'll just wear a lot of padding
