I was wondering if Trey has heard anything from YoDude about his exhaust? I would like to get a meet planned for Jan. to get his headers in and what ever else mods people have. I know I live a ways out but I would like to volunteer my house for the garage it has tons of room, its heated and in Jan I dont think we want to have to install headers outside!! Anyways let me know your thoughts and give me ideas for mods you guys have!!

Sorry I havent kept you guys up to speed........ but anyways, I got my exhaust on and I love it. Its not too loud, but after we install the headers it will get louder without a cat. But I was looking under my car when they installed my exhaust, and we are definetely going to have to go to a shop right after installation.

This is why: After my flex pipe the piping bends and bolts on to the rest of the exhaust. Well the headers end early, so its not going to be a strait shot extending one to the other. Yo-Dude sent me an extra piece of pipe, but its strait. Its going to have to have a bend in there to line it up with the rest of the exhaust. If any of you have any suggestions, let me know. But Im good to go, I got all the parts needed, that I know of.

Also, I recently got a aluminum fuel door, so if we want to put off the headers, we could do that.

And Jake, your going to bring me your grille right?

The grill is just sitting here waiting for you!! :) I might have the fuel door by then too!! If not it will the OMP FSTB either way fun stuff!! Like I said I think it would be nice to have it in a garage considering the temps could be pretty chilly, so let me know if there are any objections to having it at my place. So How is Jan 13th for everyone? It is a Sunday so hopefully we all can make it!! Give me some feedback!!

Are we looking to do this on a weekday or the weekend? It looks like all the dates you guys were proposing were for weekdays. Weekends are generally easier for me, but, I could do a weekday evening (not daytime, though) as long as Jake has plenty of light and heat in his garage!

Sounds like we've got plenty to do with headers, intakes, gas caps, etc. Just to throw mine into the frey, I still have my aftermarket speakers I'd like to install as well as my aluminum pedals.

I think weekends are going to work for most people. My headers will have to be done prolly on a Saturday, because of the issue going to a muffler shop. But we'll find a good saturday that will work down the road.

Your speakers, and gas doors and what not could be done on a sunday though. And we could have multiple projects going at once too. I dont want to feel like you guys plan around me, but I shouldnt have anything going on on the 20th. So if you guys want to do some things on the 13th thats ok. Just let me know whats up.

MileHighCougar
12-28-2002, 06:26 AM
Here is the deal I work every Saturday until 8, so I wont be able to help with the headers but for the other stuff we can do it on a sun and do it here. I have plenty of light and will make sure there is heat. The 20th is a mon so that means the 13th is too so that is my bad!! 19th is sun and 18th in sat. Let me know what you guys think!!

Oh crap, yep your right. When I looked at my computers callender for January, I fogot to look at the year, it was on 02. So yeah, I cant on the 12th, but the 19th should work at your place Jake. We could do some fuel doors, strut bars, speakers..........so will that work for everyone or do we need to look for a different day?

I dont know who Chris is...........:banhim:I ment to say David.......Sorry.

YES, we have to have a dremel for the fuel doors. There is a How To write up on TeamNeco's site. You might want to just take a glance at it and make sure we have all the tools necessary.

And, its not really a surprise, I have just been working on something for a little while that I want to show you. Nothing big.
