Spring/Summer Midwest Meet **Prez flag this**

Just wondering when we are planning to have our midwest meet next year.....
i heard something about may but i dont know if thats going to work. i know a couple of us (including me) are finishing school and have graduation and stuff like that, so maybe June would be better? i was going to spend a couple weeks with a friend in Lincoln anyway so june would be perfect for me.
i know its a long ways away but maybe we should start figuring things out.
Any input from anyone else?? i think early june would be ideal.

I was thinking meets in

April -- meet ( late april)

May - Team NECO event

June -- meet

July -- CF 2003

August-- meet

We have to have 3 official meets a year to be a chapter.. thos are the months I think would be good.

Places to have them have not yet been decided.. I need to get with wendy on this.

snoogins.. im hoping to be going to school in lincoln over the summer, i might actually get to attend one of these things! :banana:

oh and just an idea, if anyone is interested in sprint cars.. the track at Eagle Raceway (www.eagleraceway.com) is just 5 minutes east of Lincoln, I spend as much time as humanly possible out there over the summer... the World of Outlaws will be running there June 27/28, and also Sept 19/20.. maybe if there is enough interest in that, a meet could possibly happen around that time? hmmmmm?

Eagle is so cool. I love going out there. I was out there almost every time the outlaws were there or at I-80. The meet list looks good for me!

that all sounds good but i probably wont be able to attend the april one unless its in sioux falls.

Yeah I am good for a meet BUT we live up north and April is a bad time for us northern peeps due the weather it might S.N.O.W..


If we can think of soemthing different just let me know it is still a few months away. I am still looking at the skies for snowflakes.

Well we own the domain it's just that the DAMN DNS servers won't registar it. I have sent E-mail to the company. Waiting reply from them.

I did. I got a reply back saying I had the DNS servers enetered wrong and had to re add them and wait 72 hours for them to change. Well they changed and the domain still has not registred. Hopefully it gets up soon.. I have something I want to do with the site.

so anyways....it soon being February, does anyone else think maybe we could pick a weekend for the April meet?
jeremy you said late april.....would the 19/20 weekend work out? or perhaps one in very early may would be better? say May 3/4?? just a thought :)
and what about the location....since our June meet will most likely be in Lincoln (or so i have been told), would the April/May one be in Sioux Falls? or somewhere else? im just wondering.....
what are everyone's thoughts?
