You are not going to believe this but i have just been out in the car to get some fuel and it is leaking oil again, it is that bad that when i got out of the car you could see the trail of oil up my street amd onto my drive and the car stinks of burning oil, i have had enough of the bloody thing.

oh, bloody hell, any idiea where it's coming from?

I know, you'll be thinking about selling it now but the majority of problems you've had have been due to poor workmanship whilst getting it modded and not down to the general build quality of your cat.

I really do sympathise with you, I know the feeling....:banghead:

Sorry to hear about your troubles.

I can well understand your desire to get rid of the damn thing but as others will undoubtedly say this is RGS's fault not yours or the cars. Perhaps your car is shy?! First mention of a meeting and look what happens!

I hope you do not sell.

May I also take this opportunity to thank you for all your hard work during the course of this year and for all that you have done for us. It is not taken for granted.

Keep your pecker up and have a good Christmas

May I endorse Mike's comments....you have had the most rotten luck through no fault of your own....other than a desire to take this superb car to another level. You have a lot of friends both in the UK and US NECO communities who very much admire the development you have put into "The Beast".

Let me put it another way....I only have a pretty much stock Cougar which I've owned for nearly 2 years now but I still can't stop looking back at it every time I park up......I love that car!

I hope the problem is quickly resolved and would also like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New year (unless Damo is driving past of course)

That totally sucks:banghead: Poor workmanship I suspect but that don't make it any easier to bear.

Have a Merry Christmas mate and a better new year.

You know, you might want to remind those bloody imbeciles that the rear main seal is supposed to be fitted to the car, not left lying in the drive or the garage. :disgust:

I think it has something to do with the Accusump Oil Accumilator, apparantly when the pressure in it builds up too much it has a blow off valve on the bottom which from time to time dumps some oil, but the problem with that is that if i am driving when it does it, all the oil goes over the exhaust and the front left brake disc which is not good.

I am assuming this is the problem but it could be the accusump leaking again
