help gutting precats

Hello, first off I guess I should say I'm a new Cougar owner. Picked up a 2002 35th anniversary Edition about 2 weeks ago.
I've already installed an AEM intake. Future plans include a dual exhaust of some kind but don't have the cash right now.

Since it was relativly free I have been thinking of gutting the pre-cats. However I'm a little hesitant of this mod. Is there anyone relativly close to Des Moines or the Twin Cities (family) that has done this mod before that wants to earn ffree beer and dinner or something after the mod is done.

Well I dunno much about it but you could probably ask Blackcoog or Grav1ty I think they are better with engines than I....

Thanks, I think I've gotten enogh courage to do it myself. I won't have anything to do on x-mas day so gonna bring it to work and hope I don't mess anything up lol
