need help with ww grill insert install

Hey guys,

Well I'm getting it painted this week, but I'm concerned about the install. The "screw points" on the grill insert don't match the wholes where the original grill attached... How did you guys install it???

Yeah I figured... but is the double sided tape that comes with it strong enough to hold it on the bumper??

edit: Also my dealership quoted me $75 to paint the grill insert and my new tail covers to match... that's a good price right?

Not sure if you want to tape the bottom of the Grille Insert to the Bumper.
I was advised, not long ago, that it sucks if you have to do anything to your headlights when you have a grille insert taped to the bumper.
May I just suggest that you drill new holes and screw it down tight. That's what I've done with mine and it works just fine.

Oh yeah, I think $75 to paint the insert and the covers is fair. But then again, I live in NY where everything seems to be a little more expensive. Are you getting them painted black (seems like a silly question) 'cause it's usually a 'cheaper' color to get painted. If you are uncomfortable, look around a bit. Usually you can find somewhere less expensive than the dealer. JMO -- Buen Suerte
