It's been about 2 years since I sold my Cougar and today I flew into Phoenix for work for a few days. So I'm at the Hertz counter and the lady is telling me that they have a TaurASS waiting for me. I then notice a pic of a Cougar so I ask if they do have any Cougars and she says yes we have one on the lot. Cool so I take the Coug as I'm walking back to get the car I see it way in the back. Holy sheet it's silver just like my car! Cool so I get to the car and there is no key fob for the doors or trunk. It's dark and I'm trying to figure out how to pop the hatch! Oh yeah it's way down at the kick board. It's been awhile since I have cursed Ford for the great location on the trunk release. Thankfully this Cougar has the "Cup Spiller" delete option. So I can drink my Starbucks with confidence thats I will not be wearing it. So I get to my hotel lock the doors and walk to the back and I'm staring at the back of the hatch trying to find the lock for the hatch. DOH oh yeah it in the taillight! Overall I think this will be a fun few days with a Cougar. Time to get reacquainted with an old friend.

For a minute there I thought that the rental car was your own from when you sold it long ago. Cause that would've been fate...

I swear I thought this exact same thing...I was like "Oh man, he's gonna say that he found out the rental car WAS his old car!" LoL, glad I'm not the only one that suspected to hear that! :)

I don't think Hertz would buy his used car with headers..... but thats just me :shrug:

yeah...every now and then, I'd have to drive onto one of those cloverleaf onramps, and I'd think the exact same thing to myself :cool:

There is no Spearmint Rhino in Phoenix. In fact I have heard that strip clubs in Phoenix are very poor.
