I am kind of new to the whole cosmetic modding, but recently I have been hit a few times which has afforded me to replace body parts with aftermarket. So my question is, what do you guys think about the SW front / Visteon sides combo. Has anyone done it before? I have to replace my front bumper, and I really like the SW, but I don't think it will look right without some kind of side skirt, and I don't really want to buy a full kit for the rest. Any thoughts?

imo i dont think the lines will match well. Your best bet would prolly be the kaminari sides and rear. I think those would look the best. However, I have seen a SW front with 99-00 Razzi Sides and Rear and it looked really nice man.
Hope that helps

I really do like the way they look together, but I just don't know if I can bring myself to have a car that visually loud.
I also have a couple of other questions. Doe this piece need any prep work to put it on, because I would probably drive around unpainted in case I scrape it while learning how low it is. Also, how much does it usually cost to have it painted?

Arthur.. this is the same thing I've considered for my red one for like the last 3 months... I don't wanna spend a lot of money on Red.. so I considered Visteon's and be done.. I might chop it a little later.. I'll let you know..

I honestly dont think its that loud (if your talking about the Z). The dragon Z will require modification to make it fit. I was just too lazy and just paid the body shop to put it on and paint it. Two problems with the DragonZ that I had were one, the right and left side of the bumper flaired out the sides and there was too much fiberglass where it met up with the fender well. But if you know how to modify fiberglass it shouldnt be too bad. If not I would reccomend taking it to a shop you trust. The front bumper comes shipped gelcoated black, but I wouldnt drive it around that way cause it wouldnt look that great. The Razzi stuff comes gray.
The prices usually vary from shop to shop but I paid 250 to get my bumper painted, put on, and reinforced.

I think I am paying about 1250 to have a front, rear, and Z3 sides to be painted and put on. It seems rather expensive but I like his work.

Man...what would u guys think of Aerogear front bumper and Z3 fenders for a start? Cant get anything else unless if I have some extra money but I wanna get an exhaust put on my car when it gets back. What sideskirts would look good with that combo? I don't want one solid kit and be like every other Cougar. I want people around here to say "Damn thats nice, thats not a honda though, I think its a Cougar." I want a combo that would turn heads and say that damn "Boys done hooked his s*** up right." Ahhh what todo? Aerogear Front Bumper Z3's and OEM Carbon Fiber hood. If I Can get sideskirst what would look great with that combonation. Can't decide...ahhhhhhhhhh Headache. Color of Car is Mellina BLue

Well, I have pretty much decided that the SW just wouldn't line up to neatly with the visteon sides, but I like those sides so much. My question for you Puck, if you know, or for anyone who has installed the visteon front on a 01, is whether or not the ends of the front peice line up flush with the back ends of the bumper or not, and if not, how noticable/bad is it?
