Hey everyone
Well my name is Armando and i own a 2002 cougar XR, black with red interior i LOVE it. I was at the movies tonight (monday) at rosevelt raceway and i found a note on my windshield telling me to check the site out. Well thanks to whoever it was that left it. I had heard of other cougar clubs but i had no idea there was one on long island. I live in port washington and im sorry to say i own one of the only cougars in town, but i always wanted to meet other cougar owners. IM looking to get some performance work done to my car but im having problems finding parts that fit and a shop that will do it right, had a problem putting in an intake in a shop in queens. If anyone has any advice please let me know. See you on the road. I have red center caps on my cougar you cant miss me!

Whats up dude. I live out in Suffolk, but grew up in Port Washington. Where do you live? Anyways, welcome to neco. As for help with the intake, its a snap to install, and we have a mod meet coming up like 2 weeks after the new year. You are more than welcome to come. OK, off to study. Peace

thanks for the warm welcome. I live in manorhaven in port washington, right next to the park. Id love to go to the mod meet keep me posted on the info. I cant wait to see other cougars with work done to them. Thanks for the link.

Ahhh, Manorhaven. I loved going to that pool when I was a kiddie. I used to live on Bayview avenue, off Makey lane.....basically more uptown, not down right by the water like you. I havent been to "Port" in like 3-4 years. Has it changed much?
Oh yeah, ya gotta watch out for Melissa and her flyers. She is quite dangerous with them.:biggrin:

Port washington is still the same old boring town at least to me anyway. It seems if your under 50 theres is absolutely nothing to do in town. Plus the cops get off on giving us a hard time. But it is beautifull town. They re-built the town dock turned it into a half park half dock. Its very nice specially in the summer a lot of people go hang out there. They also drained and rebuilt both the pond on shore rd. They were getting pretty nasty... NOw they have new benches and sidewalks and a little gazebo. They remodeled the landmark school on mainstreet and turned in into an assisted living home. They also turned th empty lot next to it into a huge playground. And just now they began construction on weber middle school, they are adding a bunch of classrooms where the soccer field used to be. Did you go to schreiber? I graduated in 98.

Yes I am a dangerous girl. That was me! I left the note! Me and the bf went to see "Analyze That" last night at the Raceway :biggrin: Because we pulled in the parking lot and he's like, babe, there's a Cougar. I'm like, I'm leaving him a note! BTW, he gets really pissed at me when I think about the car more than I do of him ;) Anyway, just wanted to say hi and welcome! And I live in Westbury, if you're ever in the neighborhood!

Thats funny i was actually watching analyze that last night too. Did you go to the 8:15 show? Cause there was only like 6 people in the theather. Well anyways thanks for the note. By the way how did you like the movie? I thought it was hillarious.

i have put some flyers out on peoples cars too. maybe i should do the note thing as they may not just throw it away when they get back to theirs cougs.

Oh, we actually went to the 9:15 show last night. I was kind of disappointed but the movie had its moments :) I loved the part when he had the hooker over Billy Crystal's house, and you hear them just going at it for an hour and then he comes downstairs in the robe and flashes everyone! But it wasn't as good as the first one. I love DeNiro though. He's great.

HEY DUDE!!... WELCOME!, lol.. I live in Baldwin, and I'm an owner of a 1989 coug LS ... there are many cougar clubs on long island.. have you been to www.cougarnuts.com ...ooorr.. www.coolcats.net ... that was a good idea ponygurl.. maybe I should start leaving notes also. haha
