i was just wonderin if anyone knew where i can get a cougar logo like the one on the stering wheel, to replace the stock merc. logo ??

Or you can goto your dealership and for about $10 get the cougar badge from the 99/00 front grill and stick it on the back like I and a few others have done. You should note that the front grill emblem and your back mercury emblem have different pegs so you can't just put the emblem on the back. You'll have to cut off the pegs and just use the adhesive tape that it comes with. Pretty easy conversion, use fishing line to remove your old one, use some goo gone or whatever else to remove the gunk. Wash and wax the area, then attach the emblem - make sure you get it center properly.
Mine hasn't fallen off yet, and it gets pretty hot down here.
I've got the part # somewhere if you need it.

thats then one i was lookin for i went to WW3 and there was a silver cougar there that had the emblem. ever since i was tryin to look for it, THANKS...

I got the CF one from Muskat Racing. Check the pic below, it's my favorite of the rear emblems available.

I've got the same one - the CF looks real nice against a yellow cougar, too. The people at Muskat Racing were great to deal with, also. I'd definitely order from them again.

Part # for the cougar emblem off a 99/00 grill is F8RZ-8213-BB. This is what I have, not the carbon fiber one from muskat. The emblem is slightly smaller then the mercury one but I like it.

Yes the adhesive tape that comes with the logo should be plenty to keep it attached.
