I was sitting at my computer, thinking about which Focus SVT parts might work for our car, and I suddenly realized that I should be able to just bolt on the Cosworth massaged zetec engine right into my car... I think it is totally possible, and I dont think there is any reason why it shouldnt work, except that I would have to get the 6 speed manual transmission that bolts up to it. Anyone else have any ideas??

ok first off, i would advise against that :P soley due to the fact that the svt engine isn't all that great, strapping a turbo to your engine will do two things, give to -A- more HP/TQ and -B- cost about half of the engine swap. but if the swapping idea is hot on your tongue just swap into the 3.0l v6... youll get ALOT more out of that
a wise man once said: horsepower sells cars... torque wins races. a very true statement... keep it in mind, the svt has 180hp and 145tq... not a very good improvement over the current 130tq of our current engine ;)
anything SVT isn't with the $ that goes with it ;) no offense... but if your dead set on keeping it 4bangericious then look into the EURO FOCUS RS.. that car does some serious good work.

that is a SWEET looking engine though man, sooooooooooooooooooooo sweeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttt. Wait a year or two, buy one used and then turbo it. Youll have a 6 speed turboed SVT cougar:banana:

yeah, that actually might be pretty sick... but hes right in saying that there is no real benifit besides a few crank ponies...

You can get a custom built zetec from england.. Im looking into those now for when my engine goes.. Type zetec engines into google and a bunch of english racing sites will come up. the prices doent seam to bad for the hp they put out. And remember there pound is like our 1.75 or so.
