So yea, I've searched the board and haven't seen any mention of this. (http://www.sasbazooka.com/productAutoPassiveBTsEL.asp?id=157)
Any thoughts?

Seriously? Cause that's what I want to know, how it sounds, durability, etc... I think that its damn funny and want one solely for that reason. Plus the extra bass. (I like Bazooka) So has anyone actually heard one and does it suck?

I've seen a demonstration at a local Circuit City... was not impressed. Seemed like it wanted to put something out, but was just too reserved to make the 'boom'. I just it would be cool for looks, but you're probably better just getting an empty nitrous tank if you want the look....

 empty nitrous tank, that would be even more ghetto then the speaker...
I really appreciate the feedback. I guess I shoulda been a little more specific, I'm not really an audiophile and listen to breakbeats/house/D&B in my ride most. Do you think it would be good for that? Taking into consideration that I don't care to give the car next to me all the free bass he can eat... ;) and that type of music doesn't get too low usually. I just want a little more thump and can get one online for $100 plus shipping. I think it would be worth it for that (plus the it cracks me up factor). Is there something better out there with a similiar cost?

Beauty (and usefulness) is in the eyes of the beholder. I personally like my dual 12"s, but sometime novelity takes precedence. If you decide to get it, post some pics... I'd like to see what it looks like in the back of a Coug!

yes, I've got one of them in my Fiat 126 Cabrio. Might be a little too much for the size of the car, but it makes people laugh when I pull up beside them in a decked out 126 cabrio, with the top down and wail on the volume.

I had installed 1 8" SAS next to a real NOS tank and it looked pretty off in size, and as for sound, didnt impress me at all. The vehicle that it was installed in was a 2001 WRX, it sounds like a kick drum sort of bass, not a real smooth sound. Amplifier running the tube is a RF 250.1 and its going to blow the little tube to **** if its used any longer...So its not much good to listen to, just look at-

I think I'd rather have an empty bottle of nitrous then that thing. I mean who do you think your kidding when even the outside isn't the same, it says SAS instead of NOS. Someone at a local car show where S. FL meets had one and all we could do was laugh. Perhaps if it had great sound, but apparently it doesn't.
Obviously Stupidity is in the eye of the beholder, but that is just stupid.
Can't wait for next years model, a sub in a fake looking ps2 or xbox case. Heh or even a 12" sub in a large fake gamecube box. Maybe a sub that looks like a spare? Or a sub in a aircompressor tank.

The sub in the shape of a spare had been done quite a few times, like in an older jeep cherokee, they used a fiberglass mold of a tire and put the JL sub in and just tied it to the side like normal, not sure how it sounded but it looked original, and the latest one ive seen is in the wheel well of a 2002 civic and it was a real tire and a sub was a 15" Rockford siliconed like hell- Sounded like **** but looked sort of decent- besides all the glue around the rim of the sub-

Seriously, this thing doesnt even look remotely like a "real" NOS tank. The valve on the top of it isnt even real, its all plastic. And cheap looking plastic too. YOu cant even turn it!!! But I got suckered into buying it from a tall dorky friend at work, and its all I have, so for now it'll have to do. Plus, no one around here even knows what NOS is so I just tell them its my special fiat turbo fuel tank.
