on a XR with 17 inch rims with 50 profile... so again a 1999 with 16 inch rims would be lower...

Crispy: I was not stressing clearance from the ground, but how much lower the bumper is than the stock bumper. You could be riding on 20's and it would still just be approx. 6 inches lower than stock.

6 inches lower than stock? Did you also measure the height from the ground to the stock bumper? Just curious.

No the bumper is not on yet so i couldn't. But then if I did that is when you would need to take into consideration my tires and wheels.

I placed two inch paving stones in my driveway gutter so I could get into my driveway .. the city just came buy with a backhoe to remove leaves and how the stones are gone also.. lucky that the Cougar was already in the driveway..:grouphug:

My 2000 with the stock 16 inch wheels and no drop is at 7 inches of ground clearance from the rubber piece on the bottom of the front bumper cover to the ground. So your telling me that it is 6 inches lower? If this is true even with a little drop the thing would be sitting on the ground. Im not sure what the height difference is between the 2001 and the 2000 is, so this reference might mean nothing.

On stock ride-height, the Aero X-treme bumper rides 4" off of the ground. That is assuming stock ride height with stock tires/wheels.

What size wheels and tires. The 15's 16' or 17's

I put my Extreme front on last Friday to fit it. And I'm not sure if I'll
be able to pull out of the shop when it's done.
I have roush springs.
But it's worth it. Because it looks sweet on spruce green

After I fitted mine I left it at the shop with my fog lights and
stuff. So I'm hoping I'll get it back sometime this week.
