My Ticket....

Well 2 weeks after I got my Cougar .. and I got my first speeding ticket.
The lady cop was so kind as to give me a ticket for going 76 (which I was) in a 55 (which I was not) I had passed a speed limit sign for 70 about 50 yards before she came around the bend and tagged me. Now I have a '02 Cougar still with the paper plates which was noted on the ticket as my licance plate number. Also stated on my insurance card is the fact that I have a '02 Cougar. Now where it says the vehicle I was driving it says I was in a '01 Cougar (where did she get that info from?) also.. The date I'm suposed to appear in court? 12-20-00. Anyone have a time machine handy?

So anyway I was wondering how should I present this to the judge if I'm trying to have the ticket thrown out?... NICELLY!!! I can present it as a dick all by my self. I need someone to give me a idea for being suttle.

I would say the lady cop is a dumb ass and supposebly it will be cancelled for insufficient info. I was given a ticket a while back for blasting, and it said I was in a 2002 Cougar, but mines a 99, so the judge just said" next time we will get you for good fair and square" and dissmissed it-Seems if the ticket is wrong then its all called off?..

Depends on the info. Minor info like that probably won't get you a ticket thrown out, usually has to affect the violation itself. Like for instance my ex got a ticket for speeding in a school zone. The ticket was written at 4:16 PM. The school zone expired at 4:15, it just happened the cop didn't catch up to us until after the school zone expired, so it got thrown out.

Just go in there like the ticket has got you so confused you're afraid to go outside, then when they try to walk on you, stick it in thier ass.
