when driving lets say 65 on the interestae in my V6 MTX some times every 20 seconds my car does a little JERK... even if in cruise control...
anythoughts on what that could be?

if your AC is on... it may be the AC compressor turning on/off

no its normal. and wont hurt anything...but damn if it didnt freak me out when i first felt it.
(when the ac is running it takes power from the motor. if its on MAX you probably its contious...but if AC is just ON then the compressor turns on/off to make cold air..instead of blowing supa cold all the time like MAX)
heat might do the same thing...but i dont know

yeah.. heat does too...
i usually drive with the ac off...
but if my pop is in the car he needs heat or ac and windoze shut...
thats when it happens..
got me nervous!
i dont wanna start modding my car with **** wrong.. so i wanna get things fixed if wrong before i start doin engine work!

I have had this happen and I think it is from the AC as well, now thinking about it, I rarely use the AC and when I do is when I notice the "jerking".

Yes were blessed with VERY inefficent compressors and they zap as much as 20hp from the car when kicking on and off, that is the jerk. Also if you use the defrost it also kicks on the compressor, heat won't if you set it to the floor setting.
