Weapon R intake + cold air box

I just pre-ordered the new intake and cold air box, (xmas gift from parents) :biggrin:
Who else has put down the money or is planning to do so any time soon??

i'm going to wait until some people have them installed and i can get some responses as to performance increases. if everything sounds good then i'd probably purchase it.

No, i'm not cheap lol....I ordered the CTA but i messed up the money order...being the holiday season it's gonna take a lil whilte to get all that straightened out and i couldn't wait...i'm impatient lol....:tongue:

i have a homemade intake....it's partly tubing from the junk yard, alum intake tubing laying around teh garage, factory tubing, and K&N cone filter....i'll get pictures on here soon...it looks too funny to not share with everyone....i ordered my cta and i was overly anxious and got my engine ready for it....in doing so i broke the airbox...so i coudln't just put it back on....i just found out my cta money order was messed up....they're sendin it back (still haven't got it back yet)...it took a week for them to get it...i'm guessin it'll take a week to come back...then antoher to send it out again...then another week or so before i finally have teh cta intake...as well as some other goodies i ordered....what i have now works and sounds like an intake....it even sorta looks like an intake.....well.....nah....it doesnt' look like an intake....but it looks like the that an intake would be...i dunno how to describe it....i'm gonna get pictures taken tomorrow....i'm proud of my lil concoction....lol :biggrin:

Im so pissed, SO PISSED :banghead: The instructions for the kit SUCK, and there are parts missing, it was supposed to have 5 rubber connecters, but they only put four in the kit, that came a good week and a half after christmas, when it was supposed to come BEFORE christmas. Im very dissapointed with their organization, and I want them to send me that last rubber connecter PRONTO. I paid over 300 dollars for the kit, and they cant even count their parts before they send them to me.

Anyways...
I rigged my own setup, using their piping, and a S&B powerstack filter on the other side of the throttle body, and therefore I bypassed the need for a 5th connecter, because the S&B has a rubber connecter built in... and it sounds VERY, VERY NICE. Also, I have to sit down and think about it for a while before I can figure out how i am going to assemble the airbox. Everything that WAS included in the kit seems to be very high quality, and they even included 2 license plate frames, and seat belt shoulder pads. I was very excited about it until I found out i didnt have everything i needed to put it on. Here are a couple of pics...
