Dammit. I've got a new Christmas list of things to get fixed. Things seem to be kinda slow here, so I figured I'd link to it and see if anyone has ideas:

EdgeCat's problems outlined in the Problems forum. (http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=60023)

Aside from those things, things are okay. Will be going home for Christmas break soon. :wiggle:

#4 sounds like what mine was doing. I haven't noticed mine do it in a long time though. Haven't done anything to fix it. Ahh the good ol "ignore it and it will go away" lifestyle.

Borla if you want quiet.

I love the sound of the Borla combined with the gutted precats. Not too loud, not too quiet. Still 10x quieter than the Yodude I had, but a notch louder than your standard Borla. Has a real ballsy sound to it. Now if I can just clear up the vibration noise (crossing my fingers that it's a heat shield vibrating against the car, or the exhaust tips against the bumper, instead of something wrong with that fussy 6th manfiold bolt).

That, and the clunk in the suspension, and the chatter in the hatch. Going to attempt to at least diagnose each when I go home to OK for Christmas break.

I just had my water pump replaced, my 6th alternator put in, and my e brake cable re attached. (it was hitting my rotor and making a HORRIBLE loud noise whenever I hit bumps)
yeah...my car sucks.

It'll be a LOT louder than mine is. Borla has dual silencers at the end of each split pipe to keep it extra quiet. Just a single straight through Borla muffler will make it comparable to the Yodude kits... THEN add the sound of the gutted precats on top of it.

I get that harmonic vibration too, but it did it when I got the car. My fuel pump is going out, I need; a new clutch, spark plugs, fog light bulbs, washer fluid, oil, and nitrous. My car also idle VERY rough but, I'm with Brian and I'm lazy.

I have put off replacing my starter, fuel pump, and catalitic conv. for quite some time now. I just put on a new set of rear tires and thats all its getting for christmas. EdgeCats list of problems is all to known here, like the hatch noise, I noticed the latch hook has slightly been bent to one side causing uneven closure, which explains Niagra Falls in my trunk when it rains. EVERYTHING rattles from doors to hood to the air vents, but thats mostly my fault from the daily ripping up the interior for some useles modification. Hopefully santa has a fuel pump in my stocking, and if not then I guess ill do the ignore till it breaks routine:banghead:

I noticed my trunk rattle when my bass hits...never could find it (sounded like it was coming from under the car)
I finally found it the other day...I had loose change under the spare :flushed:
