EXPERTS!! Audiobahn... get 1200w to one sub???

with one Audiobahn A1300HCQ mono amp that pumps 1200w @1 ohm, 600w @2 ohms, and 300w @4 ohms and one Audiobahn AW1206Q sub... can i get the full 1200w to the single sub? if so, please tell me how.

no i have the same setup but i have a 1800d audiobahn amp and a 1206Q sub and im running 1200w to it. if u want it im selling mine for 400. Only been used for a day.

It is not capable to pump so much wattage into a single 4 ohm driver, but since the audiobahn aw1206q is a dual 4 ohm driver that should not be a problem. Wire the sub in parallel, you get 1 ohm. According to the specs for the amp listed bellow, it is stable down to one ohm and will do 1200 watts. Now the only thing will stop you is Typical current draw of the amp. meaning if the current to the amplifier is not there it can not pump the wattage.
Here are the specs for your amplifier:
1- Channel High Current Power Amplifier
300 watts x 1 @ 4 OHMS Mono
600 watts x 1 @ 2 OHMS Mono
1200 watts x 1 @ 1 OHMS Mono

Ooopsie daisy you are correct I thought they were 2 2 ohms for one reason or another thanks for catching that Keane. VHull03 you will need to get another driver then the amp can produce that power.

audiobahn must make the AW1206Q sub in two variations - dual 4 ohm and dual 3 ohm, cuz ive found both in many places. im gonna get the dual 3 ohm, they say if wired in parrallel it'll do 1.5 ohms which would mean approx. 900w!

heres some more questions...
-on this sub picture (http://www.ikesound.com/images/products/audiobahn/regular/1107.jpg) are those two outside blue things the separate terminals that you wire in parallel?
-im pretty good with wiring stuff, but how to wire a sub like that in parallel slips my mind?
-and im just curious of the advantages of a dual-voice coil?
