Ok well im about to redo my system and im trying to figure out what to do. I was thinkin maybe two 12 alpine type R or type S but i dont know what to push it with. Also i was thinkin maybe Jl audio or pheonix gold. If anyone would suggest a few things i would really appreciate it.

"my choice for top quality is PG (http://www.phoenixgold.com). besides source units and multimedia, they have it all, and very high quality. take for instance jl, their amps are garbage and after the penquin issues... long story, it left a bad taste in my mouth, plus the ti subs are a little bit higher in price the w3 and alot less then the w6, and the ti spanks both. the jl amps are just nasty, and ugly! plus they are overpriced for all the cheap components, and what is their excuse, they aren't built in the states... might as well put a kia logo on em!
as for quart, i love the qsd's, but for the money the pg elite's are better, and in quality also. not to mention i have no respect for rockford which is the current owner of quart.
as for the rest, it's just eye candy to appease the reps. (alpine and kenwood-excelon only, sony se only and nack and mach)
pg has it all in my book,i love thier amps, the ti woofers and now the ti elite components, basically a morel, but hell, they are nice."
I am not trying to start anything at all but the truth is the truth, and in my opinion the phoenix gold or top notch, Had them for years and will not go to nothing else, unless I will get rich or something then I will switch to Brax (http://www.theautophile.com/products/BraxNavFrame.html)
